Alexander the Great
By Cynthia Kirkeby
May 28, 2004, 10:11

What is the year that Alexander The Great conquered the Greek Empire?
DUNAUJVARO

Dear DUNAUJVARO -
Actually, it was not really Alexander that conquered the Greek Empire, but his father, Philippos. In 338 B.C., the armies of Athens and Thebes were defeated by Philippos. Alexander did fight in this war. Alexandes father was killed in 336 B.C.

We hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Cynthia Kirkeby
