Topic: Why School?

ClassBrain Visitor:

My question is why do we have to go to school and why for so many years?

ClassBrain Response:

This world is an extremely large place. It is a fact that in your lifetime you will never know all there is to know.

But learning is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

By learning about the world around you, you’re giving yourself the chance to understand just how far we have come since the beginning of man. If it weren’t for learning, you wouldn’t speak or write, you wouldn’t be able to communicate through the use of language, you wouldn’t have the use of things like telephones, televisions, bicycles, cars, and any man-made invention that exists today. Without learning and school you wouldn’t be able to know the answers to questions like “Why is the sky blue? Why do bees sting people? How does a plane stay up in the air? Why do some animals go extinct?”

Any question that you can think of can be researched and an answer found. If an answer cannot be found, why then we use learning and research to try and find one! That’s the beauty of learning, if you educate yourself, you will always have the ability and the know-how to go about solving problems and finding answers. This, in turn, is the reason that man has not gone extinct. We fight diseases with our knowledge and we help each other survive by learning from our past mistakes.

Can you guess where all of these wonderful possibilities start? School! Do yourself the biggest favor ever, go to school and learn as much as you can about the past and present, and then put it to good use to help shape the future! You are the future! It may seem like you have to go to school for a really long time but trust me, when you look back after it’s all over, you’ll wish you could do it all over again.
