(Address of Donor)

Dear (Name):

Each year (Name of your organization) works to advance the cause of (Your organization's cause).  Through programs, such as: (name of one or more of your programs), we work to educate the community on how they can become involved and make a difference.  Once again, we are working with the public to make a difference through the (Program Name).

Let me share the story of (insert name and story of a local person).

Statistics on a program ( example: In 2006, according to [source], 20.3 million students, age 18 to 24, needed assistance with their tuition for college, but only 2.1 million were received the assistance they needed.)

(Name of Organization) is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people like (name  of individual).  Every person involved in our program has a reason to celebrate their story and their accomplishments, and many of the individuals assisted by our organization in turn help someone else who is in a similar situation.

Today, you can make a difference in someone's life by joining us in the (Project) effort, and thereby encouraging people affected by (Your organization's cause).  Each ($ amount) you send provides (specific good/services) to (number of people).

Your contributions will have a great effect on (Cause), and I hope that I can count on your help.  Please, be a voice for positive change, and a leader in the community, and join in our efforts.  I would appreciate any and all help you could give us.

All the best.
