Get a general picture of your fundraising needs by answering these questions:

  • How much money does your group need to raise?
  • When do you need the money?
  • When would you like to start your fundraiser?
  • How many students or participants do you think will be involved in raising funds?
  • How many people in your organization can help organize and run the fundraiser?
  • Have you ever had a fundraiser before?
  • How would you rate the success of your previous fundraiser?

Choose Your Fundraising Style

Based on the way you answered the questions above, select your ideal fundraiser among the types of programs listed below:

High Profit, Low Administration

Wide Reach, Multiple Ways to Sell
Some fundraising items like magazines are easy to sell, and with the large variety of magazine titles available through somefundraising programs, your supporters will happily subscribe to their favorite magazines while helping your group earn high profits. In some cases, magazine fundraisers have multiple selling channels including an online store branded with your organizations name, and order forms that can be used for in person sales.

Brand Recognition, Easy to Sell
Chocolate  campaigns offer products with brand recognition, and  a dedicated following of chocoholics. This makes the products very easy to sell. They have proven to be very successful for many years and make for a fun campaign!

No Financial Risk
Gift brochures are a good way to raise money without having to incur any financial risk for your school or group. This type of fundraiser allows you to have the items pre-sold before you order them. This sort of fundraiser can be quite a bit more work, due to:  the collection of orders, the distribution of products, and any returns, but they are also financially risk-free fundraisers.
